Terms of Service

Rules for using Picture Enhancer, including guest trials, credits, photo rights, and acceptable use.

Last updated: 2026-09-20

1. Introduction

Welcome to Picture Enhancer. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Picture Enhancer is an online picture enhancer. You upload a photo and can sharpen it, upscale it, or restore damage and fading. Guests can try the Service in the browser without an account. An account is required to keep a lasting library, receive signup credits, buy plans, and manage billing.

The Service is an independent product. Enhancement runs through our systems and third-party model providers. Unless we say otherwise, we are not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We will give reasonable notice when we can.

3. Accounts and guest use

You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think the account was used without permission.

Guests get a limited number of successful enhancements on the trial model (1K export). The count is tied to the device and IP, not only to cookies. Signing in does not invent extra free guest tries; paid credits and plans are how you continue after the trial.

Do not create accounts or guest sessions to evade limits, scrape the Service, or attack it.

4. Your photos and output rights

You keep ownership of photos you upload, to the extent you already owned them.

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you receive a royalty-free right to use, publish, print, and commercially exploit the enhanced outputs we return to you, including trial outputs. Exports are delivered without a watermark.

You are responsible for having the right to upload and enhance each photo. That includes copyright, publicity and likeness rights, and any permission needed from people in the picture. Do not upload images you do not have rights to process.

We do not claim ownership of your uploads or of the enhanced files we generate for you. We and our licensors own the Service itself: the site, software, models-as-integrated, branding, and documentation.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle account data, uploads, and history. In short: guests get a working session and a trial counter; signed-in users keep the data needed for history, credits, subscriptions, support, and security. We do not sell your photos.

6. Credits, plans, and cancellation

Pricing, credit packs, and plan entitlements are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Credits are consumed when a job succeeds, according to the model and options you chose.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancel from the billing or pricing flow we provide. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not usually unwind the current period unless the law requires it.

You must provide accurate billing information. Taxes may apply.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable law
  • Upload or request processing of images you do not have rights to use
  • Attempt to generate or enhance sexual, nude, pornographic, or other 18+ content, or any sexual content involving minors (that is strictly forbidden)
  • Create hateful, harassing, violent, deceptive, or fraudulent material
  • Infringe intellectual property or other rights
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass paywalls, trial limits, or security
  • Use the Service to spread malware or spam

We may refuse a job, remove content, or suspend an account when these Terms, safety, or the law require it.

8. Refunds and support

Digital credits and subscriptions are generally non-refundable once delivered. If a charge looks wrong, or a paid job failed and credits were not returned, write to the public email on the Contact page. We review refund requests case by case. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

9. Availability and results

Enhancement quality depends on the source file and the model. We do not warrant that every photo will look the way you hoped, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, zero), unless a non-waivable law says otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The new “Last updated” date on this page is the notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms: use the public email on the Contact page.
